Here is a short story about Widmarkarna: The family name Widmark was adopted from the village Vebomark in Lövånger, the county of Västerbotten, in the 18th century. In Sweden we are 922 persons with Widmark as surname (according to Statistics Sweden 2008-12-31). This site includes merely descendants from Margareta (born Vingren) & Torgny Widmark. Altogether we are at the moment 22 persons, including those married into the family. |
